I give lessons to people who...
-
Can catch small waves but feel stuck and don’t know how to progress to the next step.
-
Struggle with their paddling, timing or turning, and often end up exhausted and frustrated.
-
Feel nervous about going to the line-up and want to build real confidence in the water.
-
Are always on the same board, usually a soft top and wonder if they’ll ever be able to switch.
-
Want to learn how to read the ocean and choose the right waves instead of guessing.
-
Tried group lessons before, but felt lost in the crowd and didn’t get the personal coaching they needed.
What I offer
My lessons are made for intermediate surfers who want real progress, not just to be pushed into waves.
I take the time to break things down simply, like how to paddle more efficiently, choose the right waves, or start turning, so you finally know what you're doing and why.
Everyone learns at their own pace, and I adapt to that, with no pressure and clear feedback after each wave.
You’ll feel supported, free to try, and finally start moving forward.
I always teach in small groups (max 5), so you get real attention. It often feels like a private lesson, with the good vibes of a group.

About me
My name is Ayoub, I’m a local surf coach based in Taghazout.
I’ve been surfing the best spots on the Moroccan coast for over 10 years, from Anchor Point to Boilers.
What I love most is seeing that moment when everything clicks for someone, when they finally catch the right wave and feel proud of themselves. That stoked smile is why I teach.
Outside the water, I’m always happy to share a tea, a story, or tips about the area, because surfing is also about connection, not just technique.
